How Does It Work?

1. Contact

SoChange is your school’s #1 source for information about the tour.  Upon receiving your request for more details, SoChange will contact you to discuss the feasibility of holding an event at your location.  Additionally, SoChange will act as a “portal” by which your school can contact UNICEF for more information on their efforts to address the malaria crisis.

2. Consider

When you decide that MST is right for your school, the next step is to start making decisions as to when and where you’d like us to organize the event.  Whether you have visions of MST as a groundbreaking event for a new social justice campaign at your school, or view it as a stand-alone affair, it has the potential to inspire your student population at any point throughout the school year.

3. Commit

Although MST is largely about advocacy, it is also a fundraising event, and one of the considerations participating schools are faced with is determining how to produce revenue from ticket sales.  One possible solution is to adopt a “buy-in” strategy, in which students pay a small sum to attend the show during regular class hours.  Ideally, student groups and staff will work together here to determine the course of action that best suits your school.
