Get Involved

A common dissuasion that schools have from running large-scale awareness and fundraising events is the amount of time and resources that typically go into setting them up.  Mosquitoes Suck: The Tour is different in this regard.  SoChange, our parent organization, has heaps of experience organizing events of various scales, and would ensure that bringing MST to your school would involve minimal efforts on your part.

That said, MST wouldn’t be a truly engaging event if members of the participating institution - particularly students - didn’t get involved.  For this reason, we’ve adopted a policy of working hand-in-hand with student groups such as issue clubs and student councils, to the extent to which they desire to participate.  In past presentations, these groups have offered  both monetary resources (e.g. funds alloted to them by the school administration) and manpower (e.g. technical support teams) towards the successful implementation of MST at their school.  As well as involving students in the campaign, this type of co-operation cuts down on our operating expenses, allowing for an even greater portion of admissions proceeds to go towards UNICEF

MST has the potential to be a dynamic, engaging event that solidifies your school as a productive actor in the fight against malaria.  For a detailed overview of what bringing MST to your school would involve on your part, check out “How Does It Work?” in the drop-down menu above.  If we’ve succeeded in piquing your interest, contact us, and we’ll give you some more information on how to get involved.
